Got this Paranormal Thinline last Week (Thomann Blow-Out) and damn, this Thing rips. It has P90s, not JM-PU's as it's stated everywhere.

Damn that looks sweet in that colour. I have the LPB one. Can't believe how light it is, and I love those Jazzmaster looking P90s.skeletonsmith wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 8:27 amGot this Paranormal Thinline last Week (Thomann Blow-Out) and damn, this Thing rips. It has P90s, not JM-PU's

Yeah it'S super-light. My other Tele (1998 Fender Nashville) weighs about 4 Times more.

Should I swap pickguards? I kinda like the sonic/gold but the pearloid on white never spoke to me. Maybe tort?

I would maybe put a black Guard on it, or a beautiful super-red Tortoise.

Or just straight-up switch them, for starters.

Been a minute since I had a Tele, so it was fun to assemble one with Firebird pickups (HB size, of course)

A few photos of my AVRI
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Oh boy that's a nice one.
I picked up an Indonesian Squier CV 50s the other week for next to nothing. It's all Tele.

My squier cv sounds as good as the avri. They’re amazing guitars. It’s a bit heavy and the neck isn’t the most comfortable. When I think I paid £150 for it 10 years ago, I’ve gotten insane value from it.

I'm currently putting together a partscaster with a Hipshot Parsons-Green ready to install as well...
