Anybody here remember selling me a Squier VI w/ a matching headstock?

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

Anybody here remember selling me a Squier VI w/ a matching headstock?

Post by Mechanical Birds » Wed Jun 07, 2023 12:21 am

My messages only go back so far so sadly I couldn’t figure it out on my own.

I’m asking because I’m curious what the string gauges are so I can know which way I need to go with replacements relative to what the current ones are

If this is in the wrong forum, apologies. I figured this is probably the most visited sub and would result in the most eyes seeing it

I sold a black one to someone on here. It had an “F” logo and a staytrem bridge. The clear in the finish of the headstock reacted to bubble wrap that the guitar originally shipped to me in. If I sold it to you, I have no idea what those strings were as those were on it when I got it.

You could measure the string gauge with a cheap pair of calipers.

It was definitely black with the Staytrem bridge and stock trem unit.

Thinking of making a change anyway as the ones it has are pretty uncomfortable

Thanks though!

These are the calipers I got. They actually seem fairly accurate.
