As is the Broadway

And every model is available as a lefty in every colour.
Remember Casinos are fully hollow, which I think is even better. My ES-335s were fucking heavy, my 330 (basically a Casino) is light as a feather.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 5:34 am
EDIT: Not all the semi-hollows are available lefty, but the Casino is, so I'm happy.
Me too. Great looking guitar!
If you can, keep an eye out for a 90s/00s MIK model. I just sold mine to a guy who said it was significantly nicer than these newer versions.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 5:34 am
This might be the year I finally get a semi-hollow

As someone who followed that advice, and bought an MIK Casino, hated it a lot and gave the fucking thing away, I will suggest skepticism. I'll never buy one of those Korean made ones again. It felt cheap, plastic, and not at all like a serious instrument, but I could have lived with that. The unplayable super narrow neck on the put the kibosh on the whole thing.sal paradise wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 10:37 am

The guy said the exact opposite, that the mik model felt significantly better built in the hand when he looked at mine. Weird. That said, I’d be minded to trust your opinion over his every time.Larry Mal wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 11:15 amAs someone who followed that advice, and bought an MIK Casino, hated it a lot and gave the fucking thing away, I will suggest skepticism. Well, not so much "slim" as in profile but narrow at the nut. I found myself just stumbling over it. Honestly, it was the first time I ever sat down and measured the neck to find out why I didn't like it. Came to conclude that I like wide nut widths on guitars, a preference that persists to this very day, although I'm less rigorous about it lately.sal paradise wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 11:18 am

I, however, loved the ‘slim’ neck for an epiphone. I can’t even begin to imagine what a big 50s Gibson neck feels like, cos that casino neck was on the chunky side of comfortable.
