I would recommend taking it back to the 90s so you know what luminous green really looks like.

Soak it overnight in coffee to give it a good "aged" look.

I'd put it out in the sun. Should only take 75 years assuming you live at or near the equator.

Use it for a while. In short order it will be near mint, then excellent, and before long VG+.

I got a parchment pickguard. Can't go wrong with the classics.

But, so, are there two sizes of tele control plates? I had to file this green awful thing, and the clear guard i had before to get them to fit. They are both vintage 5 hole tele guards..

The new one i got is 8 holes.
