NGD Squier Paranormal Cabronita Thinline

Got this used for a KILLER deal because of a chip on the back edge and some finish bubbling on the back of the neck. Going to sand the finish off the neck anyway so, no brainer.

I usually use my JM but, I'm getting older and my back is going out, so I've been using my thinline Tele (pictured) a lot lately. But I miss the girth of the JM pickups. This guitar is LITERALLY the best of both worlds and it's hawt as hell to boot so...

Nice! I always wondered why these didn't make more of a splash when they came out. They look great. The upcoming LPB version looks killer too.
How's the neck?
Also, I was pretty sure these come with P90s disguised as JM pickups, like the Mascis JM?

Excellent! I love the look of this guitar. How do you plan to sand the finish?

I'm no expert, but my guess is with sandpaper of some kind. :P

Yeah, the pickups are getting swapped out next paycheck.

These pickups sound good but I want the real deal.

Nice, what kind of pickups are you swapping in?

The lake placid blue model looks awesome. I had the fiesta red on pre-order forever last year. Eventually backed out because I was tired of waiting. Might have to do it again for LPB :fp:

Pretty sure it was confirmed that the pickups are similar (if not exactly) what's used in the JMJM.

They are. Listing them in the FS section as we speak! ;)

FInally got around to upgrading this bad-dad.

AV65 pickups, Jazz Bass wiring, AV65 witch hats, Spacer's Choice sticker.

Mercy! That three-white-witch-hat configuration looks fan-damn-tabulous!
