Woah, this turned out great! Really quite opulent in its appointments, what with all the chrome & brass surrounded in tortoiseshell & rich paisley.

I'd not realised you'd masked off the finish halfway round the sides too. That's a nice touch. More pics, please! :)

What's the switching system? on/off for both pickups?

Yeah, just on/off switches for the pickups.
I think the ones I bought are a bit dodgy. They seem to cut out. I'll have to replace them.
They are switchcraft too.

I taped off the sides to show off the rare Tasmanian King Billy pine.
It's not the prettiest wood but the side grain looks really nice.

More pics,

That looks great!

I've always loved this particular headstock design too. Pretty unique & stylish. It works really well with the body, especially with the matching paisley-burst finish.

Make sure you're using a laptop or a desktop computer.

Upload an image > click username (top right) > click "Images" > select the image & a column appears on the right > BBCode

This is the same Marauder I made a few years ago.
The new owner requested a different colour scheme.
Still heaps to do. Waiting on more Dakota red paint and Gloss top coat.

Then it's basically done.

It would be fun to build one with vintage Aria 1803T parts.
