Might be a bit late now, but the 2nd headstock shape is really cool - but I would streamline it slightly, to bring it towards Jazzmaster proportions instead of CBS if you know what I mean. I love that it evokes the Coronado but gets a little sharpness from the batwing bit, it's a really nice idea.
I'm still working on the design. I've seen other builders use a very similar design to mine. It's difficult to come up with something unique that is bearable to look at.

For headstock #3, was your idea to chisel out the entire black area, leaving the "Cross" raised? That could look very cool. Perhaps easier to do by just chiseling (or routing) out the whole "bathtub", painting it black (or matching body color) and then gluing in the letters of appropriate thickness. White plastic, painted gold, chrome plated like an auto badge...I may have to try that myself.

I was thinking the black bit is a raised badge like this:

But if I were to carve it out, I would probably get it laser cut somehow.

I promise I'll post some actual offsets soon but I've been too obsessed with these two projects which are pretty much done.

Thanks. Unfortunately it's not even real wood. It's printed ply-wood. Sorry to trick you.
It's literally made from a closet door.

Back to offset world now....

I am currently working on a full-scale Mustang.
Here's the pickguard.

The humbucker needed to be moved down as close to the bridge as possible so I came up with this design.

Those dimples for the bridge posts look really nice with the control plate cutout. Nice work! Is it going to have a Jag/Jazz vibrato?

Not wild about the headstock . . . BUT . . . I just LOVE that burl body, beautiful . . .

Yeah, it's going to have a jag/jazz tremolo.

Those dimples are not for the bridge posts but I can see how it might look that way.
