Love all these suggestions. Thanks guys!

If I were to make Cross beer, it would have to be full strength beer. None of this Light shit.

A Cross beer would have to be a stout or porter, probably around the 7% mark :-*

I like Amon’s offering best so far.

Without focusing on line weight etc, how's this?

Looks quite good to me.

Only minor thing I'll tweak is the apex at end of the "s" tail, maybe a slight hint of a hook like the top lip of the "s"?

Edit:
sorry for the crude mock-up but, like this. (with further tweakage to harmonize it more)

Oh yeah, I hear ya.
I'll play around with it. I agree, there's still something unresolved in the tail bit.

Another thing to consider is having a bit of breathing space around the bottom end of the "S" curls...

A little bit of kerning makes all the difference :)

Some final revisions for now....

Reckon I'll stick with my original logo for the time being but it's been fun playing around with ideas and getting everyone's
feedback on the design.

The original one I have tweaked slightly. Made it smoother in some spots.

I prefer the shape of the S in the bottom one, and the way it all feels less rounded.

That one is looking great Pat. Such a cool mash-up of shortscale shapes.

I got these chrome decals made. They are cut from metal and are adhesive.
Not entirely sure what they will go on yet.
I have some walnut and some roasted maple, so I might make a couple of necks.
