Not entirely sure what the difference is? but I used a water-based rub in type stain.

Here it is:

I shaped the profile for my vintage veneer 24" scale neck. Haven't checked it with the radius gauge yet but it feels pretty good.
It's a C profile, I guess.
Waiting on the pearl side dots.

I am dying to know what Jag pickups sound like with a 12 string. That alone is giving me so many ideas.
Me too. It seems like it will make sense sound-wise. These are V-mod Jag pickups, which have mixed reviews but from what I have read, it seems
like a good choice.
I'll probably wire it up in a couple of days and post some sound clips if anyone is keen.
Still curious about this if you ever got it rolling, and assuming I didn’t just miss it.

Not yet. I'm still in the process of finishing the neck and body, so will still be a few more weeks before I can finally put the guitar together and wire it up.

I had a crack at doing my first headstock repair using maple splines.

It's not properly documented here, just a few pics. I made a jig etc.
There's a few things I'd do differently next time but overall, it turned out great!

Thank you!

Since I strung it up, there are some lines appearing around the splines but nothing to be worried about, just nitro paint shrinkage factor.

Thanks.

Here's the short scale Cross XII neck I'm working on. Shoreline gold headstock. I'd have the whole guitar finished by now if it weren't for this terrible Melbourne weather!

My take on the Telemaster!

Body is from China, Ebay. Alder, polyurethane. Perfect shade of shell pink. Absolutely flawless!

I made the pickguard. Not sure if I'm happy with it yet. I may cut another.

Is this a departure from your other logo? I really, really like it!

No offence but your older one always seemed a bit too Fendery.

What do you think of the fit (neck, bridge, guard, etc)? I've been eyeing those for a while... Thanks!
