Hello, I'm new this forum, but happy to be here.
Can somebody PLEASE tell me, hopefully using real laymans/street instructions how
to wire a 3 way Rotary Switch in place of the 3 way toggle switch that comes standard
in my Fender Classic Players Jazzmaster solid body guitar.
A totally cool easy to follow diagram would be so appreciated.
I believe I have the correct switch - it's the same 3 way switch that PRS uses in some
models of his guitars from what I was told.
Thanks in advance, hope to here from somebody soon.
peace & kindness, charles

Re: Fender Jazzmaster 3 Way Rotary Switch Mod
If you have the right pickguard, it should fit nice, and if you've got a 3 way rotary, it should wire like a strat in the bridge and neck positions, but since there is no middle pickup, I'm a little unsure on how to connect both pups to the middle position.
But, finding a diagram on a 3 way selector for a strat is easy, so you can at least get started, until a wiring pro can come along and help you finish.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
