Oh hell yes!! I'm planning mine for when we buy a house too. I've got ideas, and it's gonna be a lot of fun.

I'm so looking forward to not having stuff just all over the place and needing to remember which pile of crap my feeler gauges are in. That's how I am too. I am usually more organized than I am currently, but my shop is also bigger than it's ever been, and we have more space than we ever have before.luau wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 4:54 amI'm so looking forward to not having stuff just all over the place and needing to remember which pile of crap my feeler gauges are in. This summer, I'm gonna start documenting my shop organization builds. Someone had suggested I do that, and I want to show my early organizers and the updated/upgraded ones as well. Might give some ideas to someone, and it would be nice to have a thread for people's shop spaces and their own tips and tricks for organizing.

My workbench is currently the guest bed in our flat. I’m moving into a dedicated space for guitars in a week. I’m stoked for that.luau wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 4:54 amI'm so looking forward to not having stuff just all over the place and needing to remember which pile of crap my feeler gauges are in. That's awesome for your business and reputation, but kinda too bad that you couldn't sell those bodies too. Lovely design!!Deed_Poll wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 10:36 amThey are both not mine!! Re: What's on your workbench right now?
Pulled all the shitty old caps out the Epiphone EA-50T and put in some fresh F&Ts. I also removed the Sprague tone cap and swapped for a 0.01uf Mallory to try and take the shrillness of the amp. It didn't do as much as I'd hoped so I'll have to rethink that. Either way, it's quietened down any hum and it still sounds pretty great, just have to roll the tone on the guitar way down for now.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

Re: What's on your workbench right now?
telemaster xii is coming along. waiting on half the tuners but should be done by next week sometime. also. here it is with my other 2 brown guitars. sadly, the light in my flat sucks because some 1890's planner decided "yes, 3 rows of tenements each side. that's how ya do it"

Can you tell me about that bridge? I've been mulling a bunch of XII options and telemaster bodies are so easy to get that if there's an intonatable bridge.... So yeah, does this guy do separate intonation for all 12 strings?s_mcsleazy wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 10:12 am

Re: What's on your workbench right now?
it's a gotoh bridge. i have no idea if they still make them but yes, you can intonate all the strings. you can also decide if you want all 12 as string thru or toploader or a mix (i went with mix)solfege wrote: ↑Sun Apr 17, 2022 5:19 amCan you tell me about that bridge?
