Couple of Super Black distortions. Clean blend to play well with bass and multiple clipping options on the rotary switch.

Finally getting this thing back together. Looks pretty cool I think. It's probably the nicest version of this body so far.
The finish is pretty delicate, chipping and dinging at will.

Thanks folks!

Got my IBM Jagstang back together this morning. The Freeway switch and different rhythm plate required me to update the cavity routing and I kept forgetting about it. I'm not impressed with the SD Red Devil, but I'll give it a chance. It does sound good mixed with the singles though.

After reading this thread here:
viewtopic.php?t=73725

I decided to take an attempt to make my pickguard look a little more like the old nitrate guards by sanding the bevel and polishing the guard up to appear more "melted together".

In the process I may have got the bevel a little too smooth near the bottom left bridge hole  but I suppose the nitrate guards were never perfectly consistant anyways? Curious to hear what you guys think and if I messed up and need to order a new pickguard .

Put the mute from my AV65 onto my '65 today since it was missing the original. Had to transfer the plunger over too but it was pretty painless, if operating a little squeaky haha

I think that came out pretty good! I use a fresh razorblade as a scraper to smooth out the bevels on new guards and it makes a noticeable difference. I also cut back the shine with fret polishing grades and then buff back a bit in the places old guards seem to stay shiny. Also, I did on a couple, give them the trademark warp by the bridge with a gentle heatgun and press bend with my fingers. It's easy to go too far though so a little at a time is key
