The trickiest part so far has been the bridge. The real Fender XII bridge is just too scarce, and the routing looks tricky. I've got a Dano 12 bridge, but after seeing it in person it is too small and the corners are too sharp. There is a photo elsewhere on the site with an XII with this bridge (must be aftermarket body).
I've also got a clone T-O-M bridge with slots for 12 strings, but intonation is only adjustable by the pair. I'm thinking I could get some saddles made that were pre-compensated, sort of like you might see on an acoustic 12-string. I could also use a Jaguar bridge since the strings could be spaced on the threads of the saddles, or get some saddles made. And I've got a Ric 12 saddle bridge that never made it onto my 360 (it actually intonates pretty well as is).

My preferred bridge option 1:
This is my first choice for the bridge setup.
It will be a T-O-M 12-string as shown or a Jaguar bridge
with a Musicmaster bridge plate for the tailpiece. I
like this option as it looks close to the original XII
but requires no routing. Sort of what Fender might have
put together with parts laying around the shop.
Bridge option 2:
The is another option for the XII bridge.
I'd have to drill out the Musicmaster bridge
plate so it would go around the mounting studs
for the T-O-M or Jaguar bridge.
Bridge option 3:
Yet another option for my XII bridge. This one
moves the Musicmaster bridge plate back, kind of
filling the void where the floating tremolo
usually goes.
