I picked up a Mandostrat recently, and it got me wondering if anyone on here builds mando 12 necks? For those that don’t know, they are 15” (appx) scale length 12 strings that are like a standard 12 string capo’d at the 12th fret. Daniel lanois made great use of one on “where will I be” with EmmyLou Harris.

I know Jerry Jones made one. I always wanted one. I believe I have talked to Kifla, a member here, and he said it's possible.
Lmk cuz I wouldn't mind!! They seem suppper cramped though.

TEO used to be the popular builder on the gear page but seems he isn’t building at the moment. IMO the neck is the really big part to get, the rest is standard 6 string and 12 string off the shelf hardware.
