I have seen a bridge plate in the same shape as xii but for gotoh saddles. Who makes them?
Im not talking about the bridge frame/surround.

Re: 12 string bridge plate
I believe you're thinking about the modern Danelectro 12 string bridge. These used to be available as replacement parts, but from what I can tell have been completely discontinued for a few years by now.
If you can manage to find a source, I'd be interested in 2 for aesthetic reasons.
The Faction surround plate doesn't really feel worth it, it's almost as expensive as the bridge itself.
Another idea I had was buying a 6 string Toronado replacement bridge and drilling a few extra holes below the saddles, since these are available fairly inexpensively. Unfortunately I realised that the Gotoh 12 string bridge has the main saddle screws offset from the middle line of the saddles themselves (like the traditional strat/tele), so I think using the Toronado bridge would bother me enough visually that I couldn't leave it alone. Not sure if it would be possible to drill extra holes to have the Gotoh saddles centered, but I fear that would be bad mechanically. The Gotoh-replica parts might have centered screws on the saddles from what I've read online, so that might be one idea, but the saddles are probably of lesser quality...

Re: 12 string bridge plate
No, its not the danelectro one.
The bridge plate Im talkin about is the same size and form as the xii but with gotoh or similar saddles.
I have no problem using the gotoh one but the offset string tru holes looks fugly. So if gotoh i need to drill out those holes so they are inline.
But i would love a more vintage look bridge plate.

Agreed, but if youre fussy about every string having perfect intonation they deliver..
Unfortunately i dont believe that there is anybody out there doing an off the shelf version of what you are after (been looking for a long time)..
Heres a pic of a toronado bridge converted by pickguardian.
Pretty good compromise
