My wife affectionately dubbed this the "Surf Shark".
It started life as a Vintera Modified Jaguar HH. The pickups are
Novak M/S Goldfoil humbuckers, wired to a three way switch for position changing and a Mustang on/on/on slider for tapping each individual coil. The tuners are
these, and honestly they're not that bad for the price. They hold tune well. If anyone is ever looking for plastic button tuners, I would recommend giving these a shot.
It has a nasty, "cheap vintage guitar" vibe to the sound that I really dig. It isn't hard to dial in old '60s catalog guitar sounds when split. In full humbucker mode, they are full and bright. It's a pretty versatile guitar.
I have no idea what happened to the white balance on the second picture. I guess the pickups screwed with it.
