I'm going to have to get one for my Deedpoll Venturesonic once they are available again. It has a Mastery now, not the Mosrite style one pictured - Very nice Dan

So cool, Javier! I thought I'd repost the pics so they don't founder at the bottom of the last page - brightened them up a bit too!

How do you like the sound with the Thinline construction? On paper, your Starbastard should sound pretty similar to Sergeant Brown!

Now there's a guitar I haven't seen in a while! How are you doing dude? So chuffed you're still playing the Venture-Sonic - that was an early one for sure :) the gold guard is slick!

Cheers for posting guys!

Just a quick update - we're expecting new bridges will be ready in about 4 weeks, so that's when the backorders will be heading out the door. Hopefully we will have some rolling stock left over this time!

Bridges are going to some pretty big names, so keep your eyes peeled for them! Nothing official to announce yet, but it's all on the way.

Thanks so much to everyone for following along! It's amazing to have you all on board 🛹

Cheers!

Hey! Thanks for brightening up the photos! I didn't realize how dark they were until I looked at the site on my computer...

Also, sounds great and works great. I am probably the wrong person to ask about nuances...but I haven't been able to get out of tune!

The tuffset bridge installed in my Jaguar yesterday. Really nice pice of hardware. Rock solid. Instant improvement. My luthier said it was the best Jm/Jag bridge he installed so far.

Too soon for me to compared it to the Staytrem (on my AVRI JM) and Mastery bridges (on my CS 58 JM). I will make my mind after a couple of rehearsal/shows.

So...what exactly is going on with those covers? They are absolutely beautiful (and the rest of the guitar too!)

I've had my Tuffset installed on my Partscaster VI for a few weeks and thought I'd drop in with some comments. Overall? It's great. It's gorgeous, it's solid, it feels great just holding it in your hand. In terms of using the Tuffset? Honestly, there's not too much to say, in the sense that the Tuffset works perfectly. You forget it's there because it doesn't have any bad habits like poking your hand when palm muting.

Regarding the saddles and big strings: The .095 E and .075 A strings sit on top of the saddle grooves more than they sit in the groove, and the .056 D is about halfway in. No worries though, the Tuffset saddles hold the big strings better than the Mustang-style bridge it replaced. Same guitar, same setup, same action and neck angle. The Mustang bridge worked fine for me, and the Tuffset is better.

Intonation range: My Partscaster VI is a DC Kunkle Bass VI conversion neck on a Jazzmaster body. I did not have intonation issues with the Mustang style bridge, but it was nearly maxed out. The Tuffset very obviously has more intonation range. That's great since I might need a little more range for the .100 Fender strings. For Squier VI owners, I can't advise as my guitar is a different beast.

Final thoughts: Thumbs up, the Tuffset is a great piece of hardware.

Thanks Ralph! That's fantastic to know - always interesting to read VI reviews, and I'm just really pleased the bridge is performing as you want it to! I'd love to see pics of your VI if you have some :)

What a cool Jag, great shots and thanks for the kind words! I hope you'll come back and share after the shows and rehearsals. Can I ask who your luthier is? I'm putting together a shortlist of luthiers and techs for testing, feedback and a supply scheme. Cheers!

If a TOM version is coming out, I may get it for my Cobain Jaguar.

It's coming!! I can't share a release date just yet, but things are looking good. We should have working prototypes within a couple of months 🤞

Hello all!
Just tested our new lighting studio setup and thought I'd share here!
Seems like only yesterday that all we had were renders and screengrabs, and taking these first few photos feels like a bit of a special milestone for things to come full circle!
In this moment, it's only fair I look back and reflect on the incredible journey we've all been on together and to thank you all again for the help, kindness and enthusiasm you have brought to making the Tuffset what it is today. We really wouldn't be anywhere without you! So a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved no matter how large or small your contribution :-*

Awesome photos for an awesome bridge.

Got mine in. Took a bit to dial it in but now that I got it right I’m loving it. Looks very nice as well. Matches the jazzy’s aesthetic.

Thanks for doing what you do. Between that and the Dreamweaver I got from Copacetic, you’ve done me well.

Thanks so much for the kind words, dude! Glad you're loving the Dreamweaver too! Feelgood is really killing it.

I spied that one over on the green guitars post - looks absolutely stunning with all the metal pickup covers and knobs - even the trem arm tip! Really chunky... I like the tort guard a lot, but I can't help but wonder how it would look with a non-anodized Aluminium pickguard. If the Terminator played a Jazzmaster..!

Cheers

Soon!

I'm sorry to keep everyone waiting - this wave has taken longer than expected, because we have prioritised making improvements to all aspects of the design and manufacturing process, including some changes under the skin that will help make future versions compatible with different instruments (including the much-anticipated TOM/AOM version that will NOT require you to remove the inserts in the body!)

We're currently on track to have orders reopen in October. If you sign up to the mailing list on the website, you'll get a notification when the bridge is available again.

Cheers!
