Maybe like this? I also might go with a more delicate "Artemis."

The epoxy seems to be working. :) I am glad I did both holes so from the top they match. :)

Looks good to me. I like the way you implied a half pear. That's really clever in it's simplicity.

Things I notice about his work. The parts are precise. The pickguard and plates fit together very evenly. All lines are consistent. The gap around the bridge plate is the same size all the way around. The bridge thimble holes are centered in the plate. The pickguard follows the body shape perfectly. I appreciate the blade switch being parallel to the body edge. I also like the offset third lower screw hole on the control plate.

All the holes for the pickguard, plates, and such are well placed and well supported with body wood. (None of that "hole too close to the edge" thing.)

The neck pocked rout is clean and both the stock neck and my new neck I am working on fit it well.

I love that his tremolo rout has the corners done so I don't have to chisel them like with most Jazzy bodies I get.
I think it's great that you picked up on these things, I love it when the care and attention to detail gets noticed and appreciated. Your own input to the project is taking things in a good direction also. :-*

Thanks! It probably comes from being an amateur with painting and assembling guitars. When stuff fits together well and pieces seem like they were well constructed to fit well, it is super nice.

For example, anyone who has had to fit a new Jaguar pickguard in with the stock three plates knows what I mean. Even stock Fender guards never seem to fit the plates right and the holes never seem to match up just right. The switch plate almost always is slightly too big or something so you have to sand the pickguard to get the pieces to fit together right.

I very much appreciate how will the parts all fit together. :)

TPD: Glad you like the design idea! :D

Washers came in. I think they look cool. To help them look intentional I added them to the bridge plate. I think it looks good. :) I also added in the black tele knobs I ordered. I wanted each of the three pieces to have black and metal.

This is turning out great (as usual :D )!! I don't know why, but I really like the addition of the washers under the screws. Gives it a little extra something...
