cij/mij neck

hi everybody, scored a nice CIJ body off a friend who somehow broke the neck in half (?!). Would anybody know where I might get a new neck? I remember the neck pocket being slightly different to the USA ones from a mod I attempted years ago and I dont know if any of the Mexican or other budget (indonesia/China?) ones will line up. Thanks for any help. Sorry iof this is a silly question but I dont think I've ever seen a mij or cij neck for sale on ebay ore reverb.

Japanese necks are often/sometimes about 1mm wider at the heel. I used to think that was universally the case, but then I stuck my MIJ Jag neck on an Indonesian Bullet Mustang body, and the fit was perfect without any sanding of the neck pocket at all.

If yours has the slightly wider neck pocket, a US/MIM spec neck will fit fine, but possibly a little on the loose side without a shim.

I swapped necks between an AV65 and a MIJ a few years back in an emergency (broken nut just before a gig) and it was fine.
