1 piece Jaguar pickguard? Only in my dreams?

I'm dead set on building a Saylor thinline as I have a wonderful neck for it...
I'd really like to give it a Jazzmaster looking pickguard but I don't see much of them (actually never seen any online)

So, basically what i'm looking for is a 1 piece US jag PG that incorporates the top and bottom control, just like a Jazz PG (and no, i'm not sure a JM PG would do the trick, as the JM shape is a bit different AND the bridge placement would be off too)

I've see a guy from Greece selling a Jag set on the bay (top/bottom/pup select all made of PG material) but i'd imagine this setup to look "toy-ish". There's gotta be a Jazzy style guard for a Jag, no?

I would try to get in contact with pickguardian and see what they can do for you there. They do excellent work. One piece jag pickguard sounds crazy, cant wait to see what it’ll look like when finished!

Lomic Guitars on eBay (i believe he's also a member on here) may be able to help you out, Jeff has made lots of weird pickguards for me and theyre always great. It will require a little R&D work on his end though, so be prepared to pay him for his time (he more than deserves it!)

Count me in for one of these in black/white/black if you find/make one.
For the Parts-Jag I'm working on I want the pickguard to cover the upper bout, but still use metal plates for the lower switches and lower controls.
If you find/make one like you describe, I can always just dremel away the lower control part of it to make way for the plate.

I could make a one-piece Jag guard happen ;)

The Blacktop Jaguar has a 1-piece guard, albeit with only the lower Jazzmaster style pickup selector (and P90 or humbucker routes). But that would give you the overall shape as a jumping off point for having a guard custom cut with your preferred controls…

I could do it, I have a template for a 1 piece Player HH Jag guard, but it's a project I wouldn't be able to take on right away.

Awesome knowing that we have some members that could help out!
I'll probably receiving the body from MJT in a month or two so I'll definitely ping both of you for mine when it arrives.

That’s funny. I was looking for the same thing for my new Burgundy Mist Jag… but as I‘m still not sure about which pickups are going in there so I didn‘t order/make anything yet.

But it has been done already:
Maybe Realm Seeker can help?

As I won‘t put Tortoise on mine I wouldn‘t want to pay that (spitfire) much for a more or less regular guard - and I would not include ALL the screw holes - as you won‘t need all of them and it looks a bit off/much to me.
I‘m pretty sure Brian/earlpilanz or any custom pickguard maker can make one - and yes the MIM player Jaguar would be a good start - but not all holes line up with the AVRI template I happen to have.

Please let me know when you find a source!

BOOM! There you go!!

You guys are pretty resourceful. It's exactly what I was looking for (and I can see what it looks like on an actual jag, nice)
