slowly putting parts together for a jazzmaster build but then I bought a tvl jazzmaster which I love. so am gonna do some other pickup configuration.
was thinking the Novak gold foils (80% for looks). or filtertrons or ? but...I do have a set of classic 57's I took out of a 339, which I think could sound great. haven't found much online.
anybody here try it? maybe with 1 meg pots to brighten them up even more and have more useable tone control. might go without rhythm circuit. maybe just a kill arcade button and a lo cut filter like a jag.
anybody put Gibson '57's in a jazzmaster?

Sounds interesting. I'm curious to hear what PAFs and no sustain sound like
And I will be the one to hold Larry Csonka down, kiss him so hard, I'll take Larry Csonka's breath away...
