Same! a Fretless Jazzbass and a Jazzmaster. Super excited. First real Jazzmaster I've ever owned. Very nice! I'm excited to see those as well!! He's putting just a clearcoat on my Jaguar Bass and painting my POST (Offset Telecaster thing from Deed_Poll that I've been sitting on for like 5 years).N0_Camping4U wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 12:48 pmSame! a Fretless Jazzbass and a Jazzmaster. He's doing my blue metal flake Jaguar too. It looks awesome even without any clear.

Re: This week at Copacetic Customs...
Aw shucks guys, i somehow didnt even see all these replies but I'm flattered my work has been enjoyed by so many and become something you guys look forward to seeing on here :-)
I've just had probably my busiest week or two yet.. Finished up some of the custom work that piled up on me around the time i was completing the Marauders.. Several very cool offset builds and paintjobs with a few of them belonging to forum members! Buckle up, this is gonna be a long post lol.
Finished up Adam's (Nocamping_4U) Fretless Jazz Bass, resprayed in aged firemist silver w/ a very light relic treatment. Some of my favorite checking ive done yet on this one!!
Next up is this gorgeous 1965 Fender Jaguar in aged light relic oly white! This one had been previously stripped and refinished in a dark navy blue nitro that was probably perfect for whoever painted it, but was definitely not my favorite look. We restored this gal to her former beauty, complete with an aged silkscreen repro decal for that extra little bit of vintage flair
Gorgeous 1965 Fender Mustang (22.5" scale!!!) refinished in competition blue nitro.. More gorgeous checking here, if you ask me!
Headstock match for forum member MechanicalBirds' MJT Jazzmaster body. Assembled and set this one up for him, complete with relic waxing the fretboard and aging the pearl inlays to match the binding. Tons of vintage mojo here
Squier Jazzmaster Deluxe ST refinished in NOS dark amethyst purple nitro.. These squiers have some of the best feeling necks ive ever played!!
Player Mustang refinished in custom-mixed "Purple-ish" poly. Color is based on a phone the owner used to have, very difficult color to mix properly, but we got it done!
Jason's (Shadoweclipse13) Jaguar bass was in for a satin clear coat. That grain is too beautiful to cover up with even the coolest custom color!!
Another one of Jasons, this rad POST deed_poll body was in for a makeover in Audi District Green.. The german carve and gold flop of the paint set it off!!
Sweet Squier Paranormal Super-sonic in GM 56' Sherwood Green Nitro
MIJ Fender Bass Vi in GM '56 Sherwood Green for Lane, who im pretty sure is a forum member <3
Thats all for this week folks, stay tuned to Copacetic Channel 666 for next weeks exciting installment

I have long admired that Jaguar bass. I can't wait to see it back together after that stain! Plus, everything else looks fantastic. I really need to get a few things refinished...

Re: This week at Copacetic Customs...
First off, EVERYTHING looks amazing!! Nocamping_4U's bass may have the perfect Firemist Silver Same with all of the shades of purple in this post...
Me too dude! UPS has informed me that it should be here tomorrow in the morning, and guess what? I'm off tomorrow! I have a few other things I need to work on, but I might be able to at least get some outside mock-up shots for anyone's viewing pleasure The clearcoat with the tort at least

Re: This week at Copacetic Customs...
UPS just dropped off some good stuff. Here's a quick mock-up since I won't likely be able to get started on the rebuild today!
A little darker than raw (to be expected!) and absolutely gorgeous!!!! I cannot WAIT to get this back together.
Thanks Charlie!!!!

Re: This week at Copacetic Customs...
Been a while since my last check-in but rest assured I've been cooking up lots of good stuff lately
FINALLY finished up this Coke Bottle Sparkle Jag i first posted waaaaay back on page 3 or something like that. These larger flake sparkle jobs take forever but Ive switched to using Crystalac Brite Tone Water-based Poly for my sparkle finishes which can be applied thicker than other clear coats ive worked with and has sped these up a good bit. Still many weeks if not months of work to nail them, but I'm improving with each one I complete!
Made a dedicated thread for this one but incase anyone missed it.. Finished up this little treat for myself.. Eastwood Maverick Custom heavily modified and refinished in Iris Metallic Nitro
Just last night i finished assembling this guy.. Jazzmaster XII custom build in Aztec Gold. Did so much work to this one it really deserves its own thread. Plays and feels amazing and I think I pretty much nailed the vintage yellowy hue of Aztec Gold!
Did a quick and easy poly refin in Fiesta Red for my pal Jeff over at Lomic Guitars. We used his 90's Jagstang for reference when mixing the paint and he tells me the color looks exactly the same!
Thats all the finished stuff for now, but i'll be checking back in soon with more rad offsets to share. Keep it Copacetic until then Gang!
