Duo Sonic Tremolo
Cannot be done. My DS has been with a guitar tech this weekend who’s been measuring rout depth etc, and he has informed me that there simply isn’t enough room to even fit a short block squire Strat type trem.
Having searched the net myself, I thought it would be useful to post this as a statement, unless one of you knows better.
Plan B: Try to find a Lake Placid Squier Cyclone. Does anyone know if there’s any in the UK? (There’s one on Reverb but it’s silly money and in the US)

Re: Duo Sonic Tremolo
Maybe a bit obvious or not what you want but you can add a bigsby to them.

Yes, likewise a Stetsbar, but I feel they ruin the look of the mustang shape. I’m not a fan of regular mustang terms (I have a very nice Vintera Mustang). It’s specifically a Strat style trem I’m after.

Just my 2 cents these are pretty rad with the "F" Fender bigsby added.

Re: Duo Sonic Tremolo
I routed my CV DS and put a Squire jazz/jag trem in it. No problemo

Hi, yes, it’s specifically a Strat style trem I wanted, all the way through the body, with the springs routed in the back.

Love the flake on that green. Are the Bigsbys stable tuning-wise?Jazzmastervsjaguar wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 1:25 pm

Another option would be the Duesenberg Les Trem II. They look cool on offset guitars and they are very easy to install. The one I used in conjunction with a rocking Staytrem bridge kept in tune better than most trems of that kind I have used.

They're more elegant than a Stetsbar. I don't suppose you have a picture?epizootics wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 10:47 pmAnother option would be the Duesenberg Les Trem II. They are! They don't crowd a body like a Bigsby does either (although I like the busy look of the two guitars above).AndyMansh wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 1:19 amThey're more elegant than a Stetsbar. The guitar was my own design and I don't have any great pictures of it, but here goes:

There's also someone in Germany I cannot recall who making vaguely hagstrom-esque things that are basically surface mounted. If this rings a bell for anyone....

i love the dusenburg trems. i've got one on my starcaster and it's the best bigsby style trem i've ever used.

Another Les Trem fan here. I adapted my Mustang to take one after finally giving up on the stock one...
