Hey! I happen to have a set of GFS Alnico II P90s sitting around that I’m thinking of putting in this strat-esque body I have.
I’m not too into the plain black soap bars for this body though. It’s white with a parchment guard, maple neck, chrome hardware. I had DeArmond gold foils that we’re going to go in but had to sell them/couldn’t justify the cost.
Because of those goldfoils, I bought a Tele neck pickup with gold foil cover to go in the middle position.
I’m trying to find a manufacturer for the gold foil style covers that tons of people sell on their P90s now. Only problem is I’m only coming up with the pickups and not just covers.
Anyone know where I can find those kind of covers or should I access my school’s 3D printer? (I’m a teacher)

Re: Different P90 Covers Source?
Have you checked Philadelphia Luthier Supply? I bought some pickup covers from them, for my Bass VI project (though it was covers built onto a pickup and not removable anymore).
All 3 (bridge P-90, middle Tele, neck Tele) made by Sentell pickups. I bought the custom covers, sent them to him, so he could build them. Although, now that I think about it, I think the P-90 cover was from Decoboom (who were also pretty cool, allowing me to buy a custom cover from them).
Or maybe hit up a pickup maker who uses them, ask who they use, or if they'd be willing to sell you one of theirs?

Nah, they just have standard options. But I did see decoboom has something… at $25 per cover. I’ll try contacting a maker to see about buying just the coversShadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 8:04 amHave you checked Philadelphia Luthier Supply?
