Burgundy Mist Jazzmaster Project
Well, I just scored this body for less than $150. Pine body built to US specs.
I've got plans... I think I'm going to order the neck first since it will take the longest to make. Going to go with a Warmoth Boatneck. Roasted maple, dark Indian Rosewood board.
Going to get Mastery bridge and trem.
Black Bobbin harness and their Lollar pickups.
Dark tort guard.
Should be fun!

Looks good. Other than the guard color that’s really close to how I would build it.

I've been back and forth between that and the tortoiseshell. I keep thinking I like the tortoise more.Steadyriot. wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 11:18 amAnodized gold!Braunzo wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 11:16 amWhat would you do? I guess the cool thing about pickguards is that you can swap them out!

Maybe an AVRI vibrato to save some money and weight.

The prices are lower. I think spitfire at the time was around $250 while my lavaguard shipped from the UK totaled around $180ish?Braunzo wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 7:31 pmNoted! I’ve never owned spitfire, but I prefer the look of my lava guard over most of the spitfires I’ve seen
