Anyone able to cut a Japanese JM pickguard from custom material?

Post by smjenkins » Mon Sep 13, 2021 7:58 pm

I've got a Japanese JM that I'm hoping to replace the pickguard with a blue flower one. I've got a sheet of w/b/w/blue flower material. Any suggestions on someone who could make a Japanese JM guard from this material? I asked WD and they wouldn't do it.

If you can source a dxf file of the pickguard it could be laser cut or water jet cut. If you want bevelled edges, cut a 1/4 inch/6mm mdf template. Use thin double side tape to join template & cut pickguard, then bevel edges with router.

Instructions for If you think of someone with these skills & equipment, I realise you were asking for a supplier.
