Got this body recently, MJT calls it metallic plum, but to me, I see my perfect shade of BMM.

I couldn't find a double bound Nashville tele in BMM so I rolled my own partscaster. I mixed up my own paint & while not exact, I'm digging that it came out in the ballpark.

My 1962 refin by Rexter. Personally a big fan of tort with BMM, although parchment is a close second.

Yes, that Tort looks yummy! :? Excellent input! Thank you! As Jon is also the one who makes mine as well... I'm now looking even more forward to it!

Thanks everyone for your input! You all have been very helpful and the pics are all very inspirational! :-*

Finally an update!

After some up and downs in the progress, finally some pictures!

I'm really happy how it turned out and I look very much forward to assemble the rest of it!

Jon and I decided to go swimming pool on it to allow for any pickup combination and configuration. I still got the idea of the angled bridge pickup (Jaguar Top Bound prototype I kinda modeled this one after) - but meanwhile a set of Humbucker sized raw Firebird pickups arrived and I can't decide whether to wait on this one or to put it in my Thinline... PV65s would stay/go in the other one... and there is also a Humbucking 3x3 P90 pickup waiting for installation...

There's a Jarmen on Ebay atm.
I like this shade of Burgundy mist metallic.

For completeness's sake, I guess I could post these pics of my BMM thinline Jazzmaster with both contours! Bodies are made by me, and this one was finished by Rexter. It's basically a transplant of a Squier VMJM, body swapped. And pictured alongside my original '65s, and with my '72 Customaster making a guest appearance too!
