Hello! First post here, thought I’d share a finished (for now) project. I picked up a white affinity JM back in 2017 and only recently discovered how popular they are with modders (thanks to this forum!). I’ve owned several guitars over the years but this is the first I’ve ever attempted doing any work to myself. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, wiring in the P90s was really much easier than I'd anticipated.
- Replaced stock humbuckers with some cheap £40 Wilkinson P90s
- Replaced pickguard with a tortoiseshell one (from an eBay seller, cut for p90s)
- Replaced the black plastic hardware with cream
Thinking about refinishing the neck + headstock at some point in the future as it's a bit pale for my liking.
Anyway, before and after!

Sounds great, looks even better. Cheers!
