Replacement Tuners for Paranormal Cyclone?

Post by RIORIO » Sat Mar 13, 2021 3:58 pm

Anyone here know of a good drop-in replacement tuner for the Paranormal Cyclone? I'd prefer not to drill if possible... stock tuners on my guitar are absolute trash...

Conversion bushings plus klusons is always the answer.

Oooo that’s smart. Now I just need to figure out the bushing size. Thx!

i usually stick with kluson and bushings as well. i worked on one of those cyclones and the tuners were COMPLETELY abhorrent! worse than any squier i've ever played.

I love the Gotoh 6 In Line Vintage Staggered Tuners. They allow you to do away with the string tree/s (string trees can also cause tuning issues). I feel like they must be a secret or something because you can find great deals on them. They are really stiff (which I like). I've never had any issues with them on the three guitars I've used them on.
Without music, life would be a mistake.

I was legitimately shocked. Ive had so many Squiers of different varieties and these were hands down some of the worst tuners I've ever had on a guitar. :fp:
