really well executed, and i bet it sounds awesome. i love that you used a clipboard too–it's too bad you didn't leave the clipping parts, could've been a good place to keep picks or sheet music
the pickup and bridge situation reminds me ever so slightly of bender with a beard:

Thanks!
Thanks! That would definitely be a different vibe.
I just finished putting it together and strung it up for the first time yesterday. I'm realizing I still need to tweak the pickup heights a good bit as I added too much material under the neck pickup such that it's higher and hotter than it should be. Once I get the balance right I think it's going to be pretty great.lastactionhero12765 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 7:47 amI absolutely love all the Bootstrap pickups I've bought! How do you find the middle position? Do they blend nicely? Regardless, it looks awesome!

I posted this in the for sale section but seems appropriate to post it here too. The body was made by our very own Deedpoll & it turned out amazingly well. I have been tempted to upgrade those pickups to the new Fender WRHB's but they aren't cheap.

This was my main gigging guitar for like 5 years. I kinda miss it. 24.75" scale with dual Mojotone WRHBs. Killer setup.

Really a superb looking guitar. I've come across this pic many times, and it usually makes me stop my scrolling for a good 5-10 minutes so I can just admire it.
Super sharp! Chrome + IBM =
Are Jagstangs allowed? Here comes one anyway. IBM Jagstang with GFS Surf90 pickups. The neck is a 26-15/16” short scale to baritone conversion, tuned to C#.

To quote Seinfeld, I'll allow it. Mostly because that guitar is amazing. Love the baritone neck conversion.ThePearDream wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 9:48 pmAre Jagstangs allowed? Here comes one anyway. Awesome! What do all the switches do (assuming the toggle switches between the pickups)?

Re: Post pictures of your Jazzmaster/Jaguar/Mustang with Alternative Pickups
It's not as complicated as one might think really. The lower toggle is obviously a pickup selector and the little switch beside it engages/disengages the upper plate. On there is a separate strangle for each pickup and a master 'dark/rhythm' switch' that affects both. All of which are totally superfluous and simply because why not. The ability to strangle the neck on its own and then mix it with the full-range bridge pickup seems to tighten it up a lot when using gain/distortion/fuzz though which will be handy.
And also, more importantly, because it looks cool
