14 string zither/guzheng in the shape of a Jaguar (now 34 Strings!)
An improvement on my Zitherstang, ash thinline body with hard board top, Danelectro style. Pickups at nut end, bridge end and behind the bridge.

Well, that was only like the coolest thing ever. I want one pretty badly now.

Re: 14 string zither/guzheng in the shape of a Jaguar
Re jigged everything, joined them together, made the Zitherstang hollow bodied, put a piezo pick up in the third bridges. The magnetic circuits are connected and fully selectable, I was having problems with noise, so I have simplified the circuit and thankfully now noise free, but no volume controls.
There is now a bass course between them, with a Tele neck pickup. The Zitherjag is tuned pentatonic scale and the Zitherstang tuned to an open sus chord and then a diatonic scale relative to the pentatonic on the other instrument. The bass course I tune different depending on the piece.
