Bonus points for quoting multiple pages of photos :D

That really makes me want to get a Belinda-caster. Well done.

GilmourD, seriously why do you always need to quote an entire post to add 1 line??

Is it really necessary?
I edited my post, but I'm starting to feel like you're following me around to mini-mod me since it's not the first time you've derailed a thread with multiple replies regarding what somebody's done instead of just leaving it be.

Look at every reply you make. No basic quoting etiquette. The whole thing looks like a big mess. It's just makes things easier to read.

I mean you say you're a mod elsewhere and talk about being around forums. This is something I'd expect from a new user...

Its not just the pics, you got multiple quotes of yourself on your replies...smfh

Are you aware there is a "post reply" button? Not everything needs a multiquote...

Well, for only the second time in my 35 years online am I now using the function to ignore a user. Sorry for quoting pics of a beautiful guitar. I won't see your attempts at being a vigilante moderator.

Anyway, back on the actual topic of this thread, as I had mentioned before when I got the last neck from eBay and it had the log on it I was impressed with the quality of the logo (despite it's unfortunately being an illegitimate Fender logo) and I'm pretty sure that it's actually a UV DTF transfer. What makes me think that is that the black and gold seem to be different layers. It's hard to photograph but you can kinda see it in this pic and you can feel it. I'm very likely going to paint over this headstock, like @Tweedledee did but I want to apply my own logo and I'm going to try to get some made up in UV DTF. If I find a good source, especially one that can do metallics, I'll certainly drop the info somewhere here.

Sweet, will that stop me seeing all the multiquotes?

No, you would have to 'foe' him as well.

Okay, people. Is this really necessary?

@GilmourD, as a general rule it would be better for the readability of threads if you were to limit your quotes to the part you want to reply to.

@Fiddy, I get what you were trying to convey but without going too far back in this cluttered thread your response seems a bit much.

If I missed something important please let me know, otherwise can we just call it a wash and move on?

Anyway, what’s going on with this neck? ::)
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

Sorry, I could have said it nicer. But yeah that's what it is, just a lot of unnecessary quoting. No need to quote if you're the first to reply on a thread. You know someone pointed that out to me when i was a n00b, but instead of getting angry, i was like "shit, that does make sense"

Right?

Here it just seems that the quoting is used in place of the reply button. Makes the reading a really annoying experience.

Moving on! Thanks for your input Todd.

Yeah, updates on the neck bra!
