Must be, although maybe it's even greener than this in person. The shot with the reflection of the light in it does make it look like it might be on the slightly blue side of the green spectrum, but not to the point of looking like OTM or anything.

Last week I got a won an MJT offset tele body in candy green on Ebay, which is a color I've wanted to own since the 90s. It had more dings showing through to the white primer coat, but I filled those in with green marker to make a more realistic aged look (i.e. now it has dings and wear, but not white speckles everywhere). The neck is one of those cheap-ish Chinese necks that are clearly just rebranded J Mascis Squier necks from the rosewood era. Pickups are Chinese-made Classic Vibe Alnico Vs (actually my favorite pickups of all Tele pickups I've used). Gotoh compensated saddles. Most of the rest are just parts I had lying around.

Pretty nice telemaster!!!
Do you know that these classic vibe pickups will may be assembled in the same factory where tonerider brand make their product at a more expensive cost due to more valuable components...

Yes, one of the guys on the TDPRI had contact with the factory manager back when the CVs were first released, and got a lot of really deep info on them. When I picked up my Tele Thinline back in 2009 or so, I fell in love with those pickups. As I recall, they're the same specs as the "Vintage Plus" set from Tonerider, albeit with small changes in materials (black cloth wrap instead of white, etc). Every time I see a set come up for sale for a reasonable price, I buy them ;)

New build. I’m not a stickler for period correct stuff so I go for what I like. It’s a BloomDoom body in dark Sherwood green. A Musikraft roasted 3a flamed neck with cream binding and clay dots finished by MJT. Mojo Jetson Dynasonics. Faction Johnny Marr plates. Mastery bridge and trem. Single ply matte black pickguard from earlpilanz. It is my ultimate build and plays like it. A bit on the heavier side but I absolutely adore this thing.

Also Pictured with my OTM Jazzmaster.

+1
I have a set in my OG CV 50’s Tele and I love the pickups in that guitar. I love that guitar as a whole to be frank. Those early Classic Vibe’s were really great.

That is really incredible!! I'm not usually a fan of green on guitar, but that shade is wonderful. How do you like the Jetson Dynasonics?!

Thanks so much! Really happy with the pickups (and the guitar). The cleans are very dynamic and articulate. They get almost P90ish with gain. The bridge is a lot hotter but the neck has a great warmth to it. They also give a bit of a 60s silver tone quality when together in parallel. The Mastery bridge really helps give this some bass and sustain.

Holy smokes! I would do very bad things for a JM like that. (Not really, but you get my drift)

I don't have a lot of love for gold hardware, but that is an unexpectedly elegant complement to that shade of green.
