I love most all of your projects Pat, but it really is awesome to see some lefties come out of your shop :-*

3D printed another Rascal/scallywag bridge.

It was pretty raw steel when it arrived. I've spent a few days sanding and polishing it.
It was kinda brownish in colour but after I polished it, it came up chrome/nickel coloured.
It's still a bit pitted but looks really good now.

And here it is before I sanded and polished it.

That bridge looks awesome. Is it economically feasible or more of an experiment?

It's pretty expensive to have printed.
I usually only make something like this to suit a project.

5-way blade switch. Controversial!

+1 on that bridge shape design. Especially on THAT guitar.

Hey there,

I just picked up one of the 'Roasted' MIC Jag necks.

Curious to see what you've done with yours?

Do you feel they're a sufficient quality to use in a guitar that you'd sell to someone else?

Cheers.
I haven't got around to doing anything with mine yet.
I would feel confident using them on a high-end build.
Although, I'm thinking of refretting them with vintage fret wire. I'd also scrape the orange stain finish off it.
My neck came looking much darker, more like a traditional roasted neck, so I might leave it as is. Was thinking about reshaping the headstock, so I'd be curious to find out if the neck is actually roasted or if it is just a stain.

I've got one of those necks, too, and it's pretty damn nice!

Wow, that does look cool. Well done.
Did you have to do much/any fret work?

There was one slightly high fret, lucky number 13, and only really on the bass side, so I used my crowning file to level it out, then polished it a bit.

Cross "Scoundrel"
Just got these amazing pics back from @Copaceticcustoms.
He finished it in Sherwood Green poly, wired and assembled it.

Hot stuff! Hard to go wrong with Sherwood Green. It shows off the body shape and bridge really well.

Hey Gilmour, nice Jag!
What tuners/ bushings did you use? I was going to put in kluson style gotohs, but the headstock is drilled out a larger diameter for modern guitar tuners. Did you use conversion bushings?
