Got some color on my Jazzmaster project...

Going to be a minute before I can afford the hardware for this body but at least it has color.

Needs to be color sanded and cleared...

Imgur will not load on my phone...all I get is a meme generator.

I have been using simple image resizer for years...doesn't seem to work here.

Frustrated.

Even just going to imgur.com instead of using the app doesn't work? I do tend to use the Android app on my phone but the web interface on PC in Chrome.

My day job is technology, so feel free to PM me if you can't get it working.

Sanded the color on this Jazzmaster body...had to sand thru the color to fix some ruff spots so I used the last of my color on the fix. 400 grit on a palm sander did the trick.

Today I plan on laying on 6-8 coats of clear. Seven days later I should be able to color sand and buff .

I'm using OMNI single stage automotive urethane and Duplicolor enamel clear.

I had to stick to a budget...the color was $22/can...the clear was $8.00.

Still no pix ..

Thanks for posting that...I really wanted a little more lilac in that paint but it looks pretty good...

That is a very purple pickguard. It overpowers the more subtle color of the paint IMO.

Well things have changed...

The Duplicolor clear I used is crap...sanded thru it while gently color sanding with 2500 grit....eight coats.

While sanding I hit a couple thin spots of color and sanded thru to the sealer.... Six coats!

So I am onto plan B... Film at 11.
