This sounds great Tony! Is it an original circuit or adaptation of something familiar? It sounds very natural :-*
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

Its an adaptation. Kind of a "take something okay and make it better" deal. Better is of course subjective, but yeah. Over the years i've had so many people ask me for overdrives with much less drive, and this is that.

I did a clean rewire to my VM Jag, using three different diagrams, and I got everything right the first time. Then I replaced the maple board neck with my 27" conversion neck and tuned it to C#

The PV65 pickups sound as great as ever. I think this is pretty conclusive proof that Jaguar pickups are all around great, and can sound good in any scale or tuning.
NICE!

Mind if I ask where you sourced those white thumbwheels?
Those are actually standard US spec wheels. I removed the black anodized coating, revealing the raw aluminum beneath.

That is really nice, very good demo too. I see 4 diodes and one opamp. What circuit is your one based on?

Started with an OCD topography and revised from there to limit overall gain and clipping, remove some unwanted bits and increase the functionality.

No super-exciting builds these days...but this one is almost ready to leave the bench:

Almost exactly a year ago, a customer asked me for a lightweight P-bass with two pickups and a 2x2 headstock. Not my usual line of work but the result was fun enough to convince me to make him another one when he asked me back in October - with no frets this time :)

The new Tom Delonge Jazzmaster, with added wiggle?
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

haha, how about that! :-[

The real inspiration comes from Otis Barthoulameu's quiver of single pickup offsets. Eventually I wanna go back to wide ranges, but they're pricey, and I only ever really play my other jazzmaster or blue tele deluxe live anyway.

The first 24" scale Marauder kit is fresh off the machine!

I achieved the scale conversion by moving the bridge up the body so that it fully clears the bridge plate, and the neck pocket up just a little to accommodate that. It will result in vastly improved upper fret access when used with a Jag / Mustang neck.

I found some M6 mushroom head screws with 12mm heads that should fit snugly in the 1/2" diameter holes in the bridge plate that mark the "old" bridge thimble locations.

Once the roundover and sanding are complete, I'll pack the kit up and it'll be off to Copacetic to be made into the first of its kind! Should be an interesting one!

Just off the bench. The Viper is a christmas present for my nephew, next to the matching tele that I made as a birthday present for my son.

This is an interesting rabbit hole- but proving really hard to follow via Google. Where can I hear more of his music?
