Re: I guess this would kind of be a full scale Belinda Jag-Stang sort of?

Thanks! In my experience, I don't notice a bunch of difference with scale length unless you radically change the string gauge or something. The pickups mostly color the sound to me. My super distortions sound the same (to me) in my Gibson scale, short scale, and full scale guitars. The amps I use seem to impact the sound more than the scale length. :)

Have you used a super distortion with a Jag/JM trem? I got a lot of harmonic noise mixing in. Far less critical & detailed than in a strat or LP, yet still really defined. Hard to describe.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

I have used them with Jazzy's. Maybe the 11's I use have less tailpiece vibration.

It is all finished up and heading to me. I am excited to see how it looks with all the parts loaded up. :)

It probably doesn't look different, but it is all wired up and everything is screwed down. Also I put in thimbles and drilled for strap buttons. :)

Looks so good!!! Makes me have the itch to do a full scale Jag-Stang. Did you have to compensate at all on the body for the bigger scale length?

Nope. The humbucker in the bridge sits about where a Mustang one would be. My builder just moved the bridge on the body to the right place and added a tremolo route. Otherwise the shape is pretty stock. (This has tele round overs and a forearm and belly cut added as well.)

Thanks! I just need to order and finish a neck, do the decal, install tuners and tree, and get a custom neck plate made. Should be finished this next month. :)

The neck came in last night so I went to dying and staining it this morning. :D I like to use the larger headstock Stratocaster necks for any full scale guitars that have nods to short scale guitars since those usually have bigger headstocks. :) The rosewood on this looks great!

Headstock decal is applied. I need to let it dry until tomorrow before I start putting clear tung oil over it.
