I am dying to know what Jag pickups sound like with a 12 string. That alone is giving me so many ideas.

Me too. It seems like it will make sense sound-wise. These are V-mod Jag pickups, which have mixed reviews but from what I have read, it seems
like a good choice.
I'll probably wire it up in a couple of days and post some sound clips if anyone is keen.

The owner brought this in for some TLC.
It's great revisiting some of my earlier builds, where I was still kinda learning.
This guitar has a few battle scars. It's cool to see it so well played.

Gave it a good clean and setup. Fret level and all.
It now plays better than it ever did!

Looks good enough to summon the spirit of Kurt C to say “now that’s what I was trying to do!”

Nice colour. Curious as to why the low E is strung that way (see the tuner slot).

Don't blame me. That's how it was when the owner brought it to me.

You'll see, it has been amended in the newer pictures.

I've spent a fair bit of time ogling photos of that guitar when it was newer. That's aging nicely. That's gotta be cool to see one of your creations so heavily played.

Ha ha, I just remembered our exchange on instagram. :D "Kurt's dream."

Surreal on my end, many existential questions arise. Anyway, that axe has the essence of Leo Fender as it lived through Kurt Cobain for shure.

Here's the whole family.
It's probably the only 3 I'll ever make of these. I've moved on to other ideas. And the Jag-stang done right concept has been
done many times.

Is that a totally custom color or does it have a standard name?

You talking about the green one?

from memory, I believe it is called Ice green metallic. It was touch up auto spray for a Mazda.

In other news, I modified my Fretboard Radius router jig to rout concave!
This will be a game changer!
