dearmond vintage mount(?) (I need help!)
I got this kind of Japanese Rickenbacker 480 copy (greco rg550)
The front pickup had been already dead when I got it..
So I wanna replace it without any routing, and I found that the pickup seems like rather dearmond toaster/goldfoil/silverfoil, not rickenbacker. The neck and bridge pickup seems to be same.
(this pickup might be the best because it looks exactly the same except the color, but I can't find it. If you know where I can get it, just let me know.)
My question is:
1.
If I buy this type of dearmond goldfoil PU, will it fit on my stock pickup plate?
2. If not, where can I find that kind of pickup with somewhat that round plate?
3. If you got any suggestion, please let me know everything. ex) just buy Rickenbacker hi-gain pickup/get Roswell gold foil ... etc.
please help me. Thank you!

You might reach out to Curt Novak. He has re-engineered the Dearmond pups and IIRC, he has mounting plates available for his. In any event, he might be able to discuss the size issue. Good luck.

If one of the stock pickups is dead, rewinding it will be cheaper and a lot less hassle than buying an old Dearmond or new Dearmond clone.

Thank you all!! And sorry for late reply.
I contacted Curtis, and he makes that sized pickup with the right mounting plate!
But as Sweetpinger said, I'm considering rewinding too, 'cause I love that look of the stock pickup. Unfortunately, the coil broke in the middle, not at the end part. Will rewinding be still meaningful?
*I think only Curtis makes that type of pickup. Lollar and Mojo seem like making only Teisco style gold foil, not dearmond.

Curtis can rewind that pickup for you – he rewound a goldfoil for me a few years ago for a very moderate price.

I contacted Curtis, but he replied that he don't repair this type of pickup.
Maybe I should contact Tom Brantley http://tombrantleyrewinds.com/dearmond-rowe, or local rewinders.

Brantley is who I've used.
