tuner buzzzzzing like hell

Post by haesslich » Thu Jun 05, 2008 10:38 am

the (klira branded, probably schaller) tuners from my oold framus rattle like hell since today. yesterday was ok, today is dramatic :-(
it rattles when playing the 3 heaviest strings, and it seems to come from any single tuner, as it stops rattling as soon as i hold any tuner-head (is it called head? the thing to turn around :-) ).
why can this happen absolutely spontaneously from yesterday to today? and what can i do against it? :(

update: it's possibly some screw inside the tuner? can this be possible?

Tighten the small screw on the tip of the tuner button.  Not real tight just snug up.
