TVL replacement bridge
Hi, has anyone tried this bridge in a TVL?
Jazzmaster bridge with adjustable saddles from Custom World Guitar Parts? I have an older TVL and, overall, really like it, but I want something where I can adjust the individual string heights. I don’t really want to spend £200 or so on a mastery, and I don’t want another mustang type bridge.
Thanks in advance.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to adjust the individual string height? Typically, if the frets and nut are in good health, you'd want to match the radius of the fretboard with the saddles and then adjust action via bridge height.

Re: TVL replacement bridge
Hi
Thanks for the reply. I’ve had the guitar set-up, frets dressed, small shim in the neck but for me the G and B strings could do with coming down slightly and I can’t do that with the stock bridge, hence looking for a way to achieve that. Any other suggestions welcome.

That CWGP bridge has been around for a while. But it's not clear where it originated. It may just be EY Guitar's gold adjustable barrel saddles on a conventional bridge plate. So you could just go with the EY saddles on your existing TVL plate ....

It's a variation on Warmoth's Modified Mustang Bridge ...

Fender also has the blacktop bridge, which is similar but with smaller diameter barrels.

I’ve ordered some new saddles, £25 inc shipping to the UK, so it’s not going to make me weep too much if they don’t work out.

Re: TVL replacement bridge
The saddles finally arrived from China this week and I installed them yesterday. They have given me the improvement I wanted, so happy with that. Now I am thinking about putting some P90s in it. The ones from the Creamery look good.

Glad the saddles worked out for you.
I did see in a recent Kinman thread that somebody has been waiting for their Creamery pickups for about 9 months so if you go that route I wouldn't expect a quick turn around.

Re: TVL replacement bridge
I actually got some Mojo P90s from Marc last week, having ordered just before Christmas, and am having them installed in the next few days. He was super nice to deal with and answered all my questions. Really looking forward to seeing how they sound.

Great stuff, I'm a big fan of Mojo. Marc's always been super helpful when I've asked questions and his pickups sound great. I've not tried his P90s, please let us know how they are
