Brass Halon Vibrato?
Saw that having a brass plate was an option on the Halon vibrato. Any one try this? I would assume this is mostly aesthetic rather than relating to sonics as the string plate isn’t brass. Would mlove to see pics as there are none on the Halon site…

Re: Brass Halon Vibrato?
I could be wrong, but wouldn't brass be too soft to be able to hold string tension?

Re: Brass Halon Vibrato?
Brass should hold up fine if you have the right alloy and temper. Mastery used copper and aluminum, not noticeably thicker than normal, and they didn't have any problem. I don't think I've ever seen a Halon vibrato in real life yet.
