My new Vintera 60s Jaguar stopped working
I was playing the jaguar today and the neck pick up stopped working. I checked the rhythm circuit, and it didn't work either. Then in a few minutes the bridge pick up stopped working. Switches don't do anything and no sound from guitar. What do some of you gurus think it might be.

Well, it just started working again. I don't know what to do now. I was going to take it to Sam Ash and get their tech to look at it but its working now but for how long.

Maybe a cold solder joint or something making contact/shorting out? Or a cable got loose.
New pickups don‘t just die… must be the wiring.
Do you have a soldering iron?

Yes I have a soldering iron. And if push comes to shove I will check the joints. I didnt want to start messing it if it was a warranty job. Thanks

The joints all looked good. There were small speaks every where. I blew them out and buttoned it back up. Its still working.

Re: My new Vintera 60s Jaguar stopped working
If both the lead and rhythm circuits stop working, the jag's wiring design means that there are very few locations where the problem can be (assuming that the problem is internal to the guitar). The lead and rhythm circuits are independent - see below. So basically it can only be the lead/rhythm switch or the output jack, or shorts between bare wires in either region. Your local Sam Ash guitar tech may understand that.

If the pickups stopped working at two different occasions I would rule out the output jack. Perhaps look at the point where the pickups are grounded? Loose tone pot?

If the guitar cavities are shielded, sometimes a pot, switch or jack and get jostled and make contact with the shielding causing the signal to ground out. I’ve had this problem with the rhythm circuit quite a bit, as it is a pretty tight cavity.

Thanks so much guys, I appreciate it. Oh yeah, When I blew it out a piece of solder came out. That could have been it.
