I’m doing a build with a CV Mustang body and came into a Music Master 22.5” scale student neck from 1964. I’d love to use it both for the vintage vibes and also the scale. Will the CV body need adjusting? Bridge thimbles moved, etc? Or am I good to slap the old girl on? Any help is appreciated even if it’s just a shove in the right direction

I’m pretty sure those old 22.5 necks are conversion necks. As long as the CV has a normal Mustang 24 inch scale , it should go right on. An easy way to check, is put the neck in the neck pocket, and measure from the nut to the 12th fret and from the 12th fret to the bridge. As long as they are same number, you are good to go.
