I swapped bridge pup on my mij mustang & the selector now only works as on/off with the switch forwards. Centre & back position both no sound. Neck pickup works fine.
Wiring is exactly as the stock pickup. It sounds good, but have I done something wrong to lose the out of phase option- did I get the hot & ground wrong way round?
Oddly enough I really struggled to find a wiring diagram for the twangbanger. Not sure what black & white cables mean with SD pups.
Never could work out how to upload a photo here - I guess that would be helpful…

Do you have shielding foil on the back of the pickguard?
One thing you'll have to do is sever the connection from the metal baseplate that goes to the black wire eyelet and run a separate wire from it to ground.

See that short wire on the bottom of the pickup that goes from the eyelet to the baseplate? Snip it close to the eyelet and extend the nub left on the baseplate with another wire that connects to any of the switch lugs that have a jumper to the casing of the switch. In your pics, the bottom right lug has the jumper to the casing. That will solve your problem.
