I just received shipping notification on my 7.5 bridge originally ordered late Feb, so about a 4 week turnaround. I'm in NY so it should arrive soon barring any customs hold-ups.

Did Dave install a Staytrem bridge, arm and collet?

My second 7.5 bridge arrived last week. This one took a loooong time to get here - like 20 days in shipping. I suspect it sat in customs a while.

Finally installed on my JM and it's great as expected. Definitely more solid feeling and sounding than the old original bridge. Not as noticeable a difference than on my Jaguar but an improvement nonetheless. It's a little clearer sounding but not as overwhelmingly big and bold sounding like the Mastery on that guitar. It's just right to my ears and with the added bonus of less rattling. Really dig the set string spacing. It's a little narrower than where I had it but I like it. And again, it looks the part, even on an old guitar.

My order just shipped! That was a 5-week turnaround, for a bridge and an arm/collet. Will likely still be a while before it reaches me here in Australia though. 😄

5 weeks? I placed an order for two arm & collets last week. They did say it could be up to 8 weeks.

To be fair, those 5 weeks included a fair few public around easter so it may have been more like 4 weeks ordinarily. But yeah it seems like he's getting plenty of business!

My mid-Feb ordered, early March shipped 7.5” just got marked “returned to sender” while out for delivery after going back and forth from the distribution center to my local p.o. several times.

My guess is that at some point they tore it and it fell out, and they just moved the empty mailer around for a while. Good thing Musikraft is running close to 20-week turnaround and it’s a personal job and not for a client or something!

Sorta related, replacing the stock trem collet with the Staytrem one is one of the most cumbersome and difficult things to do since the stock one doesn't want to budge. I swear Staytrem should include a mini vice to remove that damn thing!

I suggest writing John an email politely asking where in the queue you are currently. He’s pretty good at responding, providing the request is reasonable.

A small, boring update - I let him know that it had been marked "Return To Sender" and was probably lost and he sent a replacement immediately. Turns out it did actually get returned to him, so I'm glad he's not out a bridge. The replacement sat at O'Hare for almost 2 weeks, went to Omaha, came back, and still in transit. If this one doesn't get delivered and you see on the news that somebody kicked every last tooth out of Louis DeJoy's head, that will have been me.

Oh man, thats terrible. Hope you get a new one soon. I waited a super long time for my 2nd bridge, mainly because I think it sat at O'hare forever. :fp:
