I was thinking the same. In case I want one for another project later. Or something to barter with if they get hard to find again. I say barter, because I can't in good conscience sell one for double what I paid.

i just want staytrems for my now 5 offsets. agree with you completely. there's a lot of people selling j marr bridges for $150 right now, or american professional bridges for $130-150. price gougers are despicable.

Jorri - you could use one of his 55mm Bass VI bridges, if you didn’t mind the extra width?
How much wider? I dont mind aesthetically but one thing i dislike is a string resting on the intonation screw heads. Id imagine they dont since a Bass VI has steeper break angle/closer trem but it is still an expensive invesment.

Ordered one in each radius this morning. No clue when I’ll get them but it’ll be nice to have them in case I decide I want to change. I’m fine with them sitting in a drawer rather than be gouged later.

Just ordered one for my JM (currently rocking a Johnny Marr) - didn’t think twice about this one, the Staytrem on my Jag is rock solid!

Oh my! Great news. I've been meaning to ask my buddy in the UK to help me acquire one but have been dragging my feet. I placed an order before I even finished reading this thread! :-* :D

Had a friend in the UK ship me a bridge earlier this month. Of course the same week I recieved it Staytrem starts shipping internationally again. :D

Now I'm wondering what else do I want/need from them.

I live in the UK and they offer really great bridges for those that haven't tried them. I install them on all my guitars and prefer the product to the Mastery bridge. However, I should say that I love Mastery and I put their string trees and vibratos on all my guitars. In addition, Mastery and Staytrem products work well together.

I would love Staytrem to offer the AOM bridges again. I need one with a 7.25" radius (custom order) for a Thurston Moore Jazzmaster. I bought the guitar recently, and I'm getting it sent over from the US to the UK at the end of this month. Maybe if a few of you on here ask Staytrem, he will make a small supply of AOM offset bridges or conversion parts e.g. if there is enough demand. I managed to get a 7.25" Bass VI bridge last year (for my 1967 Bass VI). He made a small unadvertised supply of these bridges back in October.

I contacted him in November to ask about bridges for AOM equipped Jazzmasters and he just said he doesn't make them. Having said that, he didn't post internationally at the time, so things can change. If I can't get a Staytrem AOM replacement, then I'm going to go with the Halon AOM Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridge. I like AOM bridges, but on the J Mascis Jazzmasters I used to have (purple MIJ/CIJ ones) I found the strings snapped more often with trem use. Also, I think there are better alternatives these days, without having to get surgical and fitting new thimbles etc.

Mine arrived last week. About 8 days after it was marked shipped. I love it! This is my first Staytrem and it totally brought the setup on my Jag together. That guitar finally feels 100%. :) I was big on the OG bridge but the Staytrem is just so much tighter and feels way more solid without losing the original sound. Had a Mastery on it for a minute but it sounded way too sustain-y and big for a Jag to my ears. It also felt like it increased the tension a lot which I cannot explain - maybe the deeper saddles? The Staytrem feels....just....right. Might have to get another for the JM at this point.

Looks the part too. I wanted to like the Mastery for its innovation and superb craftsmanship but it also just looks too space-age on an old guitar.

That's exactly the way I found the two products to behave. I love Amanda and John at Mastery. They really helped me out in the past and gave me a fantastic deal on a new vibrato when mine was lost in the post (I sent a Mastery vibrato to them to be repaired and the parcel was stolen). I would always use their vibrato and string trees, but I do prefer the staytrem bridge. I find that the character of an offset guitar remains, but it seems more powerful?
