A buddy of mine was seeing Marr live last night here in Seattle, and was doing a meet and greet with him. I asked him if he had a chance, to ask Marr if/when we'll see new colors of Marr Jaguars.
Responding to my own post with sad news. When meeting Marr, because of the long meet and greet line, he just received a hello and a fist bump. Unfortunately he didn't get to chat or ask about new Marr Jaguars.

From JM’s instagram - do my eyes deceive me or is that shell pink and is that a matching headstock?

Hard to tell because of the filter, but I was thinking the same when I saw it.

Looks like Shell Pink to me, with headstock. I figure all Marr has to do is contact Fender and say what he wants, just for his personal use.

How many colors has this model been sold with? The orange, white, I recall a green one. What else?

Does he play his own signature models, off the shelf? Or are those models (with his signature on the headstock) just based on his preferences/specs, and he just has a stable of his own customized Jaguars that may - or may not - point to any future color schemes?

That 'fever dreams yellow' is very similar to the Lego colour 'bright light orange' :D

My understanding (from various print interviews over the years) is that he plays the exact same guitar as the shop models, but without his name on the head and with the chrome dulled down. Obviously he has some custom colours (and there’s a blue one with a sustainer installed), but the rest is supposedly the same.

Original run:
Olympic White
KO Orange (basically a really faded CAR)

Limited runs:
Sherwood Green (mint guard)
Black (black guard)
Lake Placid Blue ()

First couple years of the white (especially) were really prone to chipping.

The Lake Placid Blue always had a rosewood fretboard, not laurel.

whoops. I could swear they had laurel, which I used as good excuse to not get one!

I've never seen a Fender with a laurel fretboard. Only Squiers.

A shame, really, because I find laurel more similar to EIR in colour, and think it suits a lot of colours better (mainly the blues and greens). PF is on the red side of the rosewood family, so I find it looks out of place on LPB, sherwood, etc.

Laurel is slowly getting the reputation of being a budget wood used on budget guitars. I really want to see it used on higher end models before it becomes accepted internet guitar lore. It's a very pretty wood.
