that brown jazzmaster is like the non-jank version of my jankmaster.

That sunburst Jazzmaster looks so much like my rosewood board necked '60s roadworn that I kitted out with an American Trem, gold guard and amber switch tip that I suspect you did just exactly that.

I also have a gold guarded Road Worn with a rosewood board.
The stock vibrato isn’t that bad, but I will probably change it for a Mastery eventually.

The Roadworn just asks for the 58/59 treatment doesn't it? The white pickguard just looked odd to me on the sunburst. Yeah, The stock trem was okay, but the US trem is noticeably smoother and has thicker steel. I don't have experience with the mastery, but I bet that's as good an upgrade or even better.

It really does. Mine has a Staytrem bridge and slightly overwound 50’s style pickups.Liquitone wrote: ↑Thu Feb 24, 2022 8:34 amThe Roadworn just asks for the 58/59 treatment doesn't it? The Mastery vibrato is nice. I have one on another guitar. It’s very smooth and dead silent. The drawbacks are cost, weight, and no lock button (if you care).

1964 Guild S-50 Jet Star, 1964 Guild S-100 Polara and a reissue S-200 Thunderbird. These are amazing sounding guitars and should not be overlooked.

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
For some reason I had a non-functioning Musicmaster bass (blue ‘72) for the past 2 years and didn’t take it to the shop until last week
Plays like a dream now and looks great next next to my ‘78!

I just rediscovered this photo of my collection from before the Jag-stang joined the family. Featuring Mog, of course.

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
Someone asked me recently how many guitars I had at home and found it really funny that I couldn't answer without counting on my fingers.
