Just seen this on the fender website also whilst I was deliberating whether to pick up the IBM Offset Telecaster! Charcoal Frost Metallic?

I have a CFM 2010 US standard Strat with rosewood and you never regret that as the colour choice. IBM never looks quite as classy.

Go CFM, you won't regret it.

The Jaguar also comes in a sunburst with a black pickguard and laurel fretboard

That burst has a nice mid-60s look to it.

Sunbursts aside though, I think Squier are offering the most interesting finish options for offsets at the moment. A lot of the Fender options are leaving me cold recently.

Looking at the (belgian) fender site, it looks like they discontinued a bunch of cv colors that were previously available. Probably understandable since they were probably churning out too many guitars, but slightly sad as well.

Are you talking about limited edition colors? I just looked at the Belgian site and see all the standard colors.

Not the fsrs, just some of the top of my head:

- Cv mustang not available in vintage white anymore
- cv 70s thinline tele in burst unavailable
- cv tele custom and deluxe not in black anymore (huge shame imo)
- cv starcaster unavailable in walnut
- cv 50s p bass unavailable in burst
- affinity tele deluxe unavailable in burgundy mist

there might be more, but i dont care enough about strats to notice those. Some of these colorways were available since 2012 when the vms out in the first place. Its not a big deal in itself, but i think its worth noticing

loving the brown jag personally! Hm I wonder if a jaguarillo pickguard/pickups/selector will fit on this?!?!

I kinda dig the maple neck, I hope it's unfinished/not glossy like affinitys in general!

I haven't seen it mentioned here yet, but I've seen them on Reverb for the last week or so. There's a new Affinity Thinline Tele for $299.



Also, some Affinity Strat Jr thing with a 20 fret, 24" scale neck

I saw the brown jaguar in the store yesterday, I loved the colour, but I'm not used to the pure white pickguard and pickups, I would at least change that and if possible I would pop in a jaguarillo guard etc if possible!

The neck is typical unfinished affinity which I've never owned..but feels great actually. The fit and finish overall was very nice imo and was surprised to see a moving bridge! Didn't get a chance to test it into an amp or with the trem arm though.

CME has them in the US. They are in pre-order status. Looks like the end of this year, or early next year for delivery.

Huzzah! Even though I'm not looking to buy one that is good news. I already got the CME blue sparkle Jag for @CandiceKS (who really needs to post it, cuz I don't want to steal her thunder!), and anything else I'm interested in is possibly the purple sparkle Mustang body for our daughter I was messaging @copacetic about on IG.
